Ski Τouring in Crete – 2024

Updated: Dec 26, 2023

Ski Touring in Crete island, perfect snow with a view of the Libyan Sea. The island offers miles of untracked descents, but almost without any skiing infrastructure. Ski touring in the Psiloritis Massif, Psiloritis, also known as Idi, is a massif in central Crete with a height of 2.456 meters. It has 5 peaks that exceed 2.000 meters: Idi, Agathias, Stolistra, Voulomenou and Kousakas. Other lower peaks are Black Peak and Skinakas. Ski touring in the "White Mountains" (Lefka Ori), more than fifty peaks higher than 2.000 meters. Crossing the White Mountains our mountains are a true balcony above the Libyan and Cretan seas, such that even the imagination of a great artist could not conceive.
